The Irishmaps.ie website acts as an additional outlet for the Ordnance Survey Ireland and is fulfilled by the National Map Centre in Dublin. This is our physical retail outlet and aims to make the purchasing of maps over the internet simple and straightforward.
This section provides a quick reference guide to using the Irishmaps.ie website, more comprehensive information can be found in the 'Your online shopping questions answered' section.

Pricing of products - each range listed
Premium Products

Searching Irishmaps.ie
1). To search for any town or city enter the information into the Placename or keyword field. This will search for all towns or cities in our gazetteer. You may also enter any County name into the search to view all the items available in that County.
This is useful if you are not sure which map you are looking for, as the results will list every product in Irishmaps.ie against the name you searched for. From the results you can check in more detail each item on the list.
2). If you know the product title or ISBN you can enter this information into the relevant fields.
This is particularly useful if you already know specifically which map you are intrested in.
3). Pulling down a list item from the Series/Range menu and clicking Search will display all items for that product.
This is useful if you want to quickly check all the products available for any given series or range.

Purchasing from the Irishmaps.ie
You can purchase any title or item from our continually expanding range of maps and map related products.

Placing an order
1). From your search results you can add any product to your shopping basket simply by clicking on the 'Add to Basket' link.
2). When you have selected all the items you are interested in press the 'Proceed to Checkout' button.
3). You will be now guided through the process. Firstly you will be given the option to log-in or register with the Irishmaps.ie. If you do not wish to do this it will not affect your ability to shop in any way.
4). Depending on what you did in 3). you will next be asked to either confirm your delivery address or to complete an on-line form, for your address and email.
5). You will be passed onto the 'secure server' at WorldPay where you will be required to confirm your order and give your credit card details. Please ensure you select the correct payment currency for your card (for example GB customers are unable to pay in Euros using Switch).
6). You will receive confirmation of your order and will be emailed with an order reference number.
7). Congratulations! You have now placed your order.
